This 5-week course will cover the fundamentals of acrylic painting and the unique properties of the material. Students will begin painting traditional subjects such as still life, seascape and landscape, providing a solid understanding of composition, color, technique and scope of vision and then will complete a finished project of their choice ending with a group critique.

Perfect for a range of skill levels from an experienced professional who wants to get acquainted with acrylic and hone in on their painting skills to beginners wanting to explore acrylic for the first time, this course will provide the structure you need to get a deeper understanding of acrylic and apply the materials to your own studio process and voice.

Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided. Materials list and course syllabus will be emailed upon registration.
