I am excited to collaborate with two talented artists from Berklee College of Music, Olga "Olya" Kisseleva and Alejandro Gonzalez.

As a graduate student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA), I had the opportunity to join the Berklee and Boston Conservatory (BoCo) Interdisciplinary Lab Experiment. This was a fruitful experience in which myself, a few other visual artists from SMFA and Northeastern, musicians from Berklee, and dancers from BoCo, gathered weekly to practice our art together in a dance studio at BoCo. We synergized, drew inspiration from the cross-disciplinary forms, and from this experience, unique ideas were born.

Alejandro and I then met again this past spring where we worked closely together to develop a new form of live painting, video projection and electronic music. We practiced in jam sessions, shared influences, and discussed ideas, preparing our first performance at the Berklee Zero Gravity Room in May. There we met Olga, and presented, "Connection", a unique synthesis of dance, music, video, and live painting.

And now Olya, Alejandro, and I join forces to present "Birth", the first of a trilogy. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with these artists, very unique voices and distinct disciplines coming together to make one cohesive piece of art. We started with an idea and then worked individually sharing our work until the final piece came together.

The "Birth" performance at the Lilypad was a magical evening! I can't wait to expand this project further and am excited for what lies ahead.
